Kyoto, Japan on Film | Kyoto Imperial Palace & Kyoto Gyoen National Garden

March 16, 2025 in 35 mm, Japan

I’ve recently been revisiting my photographs from our trip to Japan and it’s making me so antsy to go back. Luckily, my sister and I are in talks of planning a trip there next year! She’s never been to Japan and I just know she would absolutely love it. There are so many images from my trip that went unnoticed because I took so many, but stumbling upon these images again from Kyoto Imperial Palace and Kyoto Gyoen National Garden reminded me of how inspiring Kyoto was to me.

I just shared my Top 15 Favorite Photo Spots in Japan on my main blog, so if you’re planning a trip to Japan and need recommendations, make sure to give it a read! Or you can watch all of our adventures in Japan on my YouTube channel here.

All of these photographs are available as prints so feel free to contact me here for more information. :)

For all of these images, I used a Nikon FE2 & Pentax IQ Zoom 140M camera and Kodak GC UltraMax 400 film.
